As a sample library, we wish to contribute to the project “Sprachräume – Büchereien für Integration” because…

… “starting in October 2015, we established a Café International in the facilities of our protestant church. Therefore, we already offer a multilingual media collection, extra opening hours and diverse activities (handicrafts, board games etc.) for refugee families.

… we realized, that even though our library is small and situated in a rural area with a high proportion of refugee families, we can still manage to have a great impact.

… we already cooperate with many local stakeholders (collaboration in the team Café International, Round Table Asylum, meetings with mentors in Aegidienburg).

… we already gained experiences concerning this issue and we would love to share them with others.”
